Licia Galinsky founded Branches Realty in 2013, an independent boutique brokerage serving Maryland and Washington, DC, and serves as its Principal Broker. Raised in Montgomery County, Licia has lived throughout the DC area and brings a deep understanding of its neighborhoods, homes, and communities.
Licia began investing in and renovating properties in 1995 and became a licensed real estate agent in 2006. This combination of brokerage, investment, and renovation experience provides a practical perspective on what homes are worth, which improvements make sense, and how to approach complicated real estate decisions.
Licia works with buyers, sellers, and investors, with particular experience helping longtime homeowners, older adults, LGBTQ+ clients, and people navigating major life transitions. Whether preparing a home for sale, downsizing, evaluating renovations, or handling a property that needs extra attention, Licia brings creativity, patience, and straightforward advice.
Before real estate, Licia worked in technical production and sound engineering for major cultural events, developing the organizational and problem-solving skills that continue to shape their approach to real estate.
